Through my prints and photo book, I invite you to bring bits of my stories into your life and home. Let's go back to a different time. The end of the swinging '60s and the beginning of the '70s in Sheffield. My 1960's photographs are available to purchase framed or as canvasses.
It's over 50 years ago since I took these photographs. Sheffield has changed, and many people and places are no longer with us. The Castle Market, The Hole in the Road and Hyde Park Flats are included along with Pitsmoor, Park Hill Flats and Heeley. The canvas sizes available are 100x75cm and 120x80cm. The large one is £175.00 and the smaller one £155.00. Framed prints are £70 each. These are black-and-white photos. There will also be a cost for all items for postage and packing.
In 1968 I left school to study at Sheffield College of Art as a graphic designer. One of the disciplines was photography. As a young lad from the Park Hill council estate in Sheffield, I did not know one end of a camera from another. I took lots of photographs and although the odd ones were used for my exams the vast majority were undeveloped and unseen. They are 1960's photographs and also 1970. In 2017 I developed the images digitally and was astounded at the way they had turned out.
